How much does a wedding makeup artist cost in Perth?

A Perth bride with soft, natural bridal makeup by Chelsea Crocos

In Perth, a wedding makeup artist typically costs around $150–$300 for the bride, with bridesmaids and wedding-party makeup charged per person. My own bridal makeup starts from $150 for the bride and from $150 per person for the rest of your party, plus a travel fee that depends on where you’re getting ready. Here’s what actually moves that number up or down.

What you’ll pay in Perth, at a glance

Most of the cost comes down to who’s in the chair and how far I’m travelling. As a rough guide:

What you’re bookingIndicative price
Bridefrom $150
Bridesmaid / wedding partyfrom $150 per person
Mother of the bride / groomfrom $150 per person
Bridal trialincluded in bridal pricing
Travelquoted on enquiry

So a bride with three bridesmaids usually lands somewhere around $540 plus travel — but the right number is always the one I quote you once I know your date, party size and getting-ready location.

What affects the price

A few things genuinely change the cost, and a few things people worry about that don’t:

  • Party size — every extra face (bridesmaids, mums, flower girls old enough) is an added per-person charge from $150.
  • Travel — I’m a fully mobile artist and come to you, so distance matters. A morning in Fremantle is different to a winery wedding out in the Swan Valley or down in Margaret River.
  • Trial — I include a trial in my bridal pricing, but extra trials (say, if your hens and wedding looks differ) can add a little.
  • Timing & logistics — very early starts, multiple getting-ready locations, or a large party that needs a second artist can affect the final quote.

What doesn’t secretly inflate the price: lashes (included), premium long-wear products, or touch-up advice. They’re part of the service.

Why mobile makeup is priced the way it is

Because I travel to you, what looks like a per-face price is really buying you a calm morning at home, no salon dash in your gown, and an artist focused on one wedding that day. I only take one wedding daily, so your timeline is built around you — not squeezed between other bookings. That’s the quiet value that doesn’t show up on a price list.

How to get an accurate quote

Honestly, the fastest way to know your real cost is to ask. When you enquire, tell me:

  1. Your wedding date and getting-ready suburb or venue.
  2. How many people need makeup, including yourself.
  3. Whether you’d like a trial (I recommend it).

I’ll come back with a clear, all-in quote — bride, party and travel — so there are no surprises. With 10+ years behind the chair and training through Lancôme, YSL, Giorgio Armani and Mecca, my job is to make the money part feel as easy as the morning itself.

Frequently asked questions

How much is bridal makeup in Perth on average?
Most Perth makeup artists charge roughly $150–$300 for the bride. My bridal makeup starts from $150 and includes a trial, lashes and on-location application on the morning.
How much do you charge per bridesmaid?
Bridesmaid and wedding-party makeup is from $150 per person. The more of your party I do, the smoother and faster the morning runs.
Is there a travel fee for mobile wedding makeup?
There can be. I'm fully mobile and travel to you, so a travel fee may apply depending on where you're getting ready — it's quoted upfront with your enquiry, never a surprise on the day.
Should I book a bridal trial, and does it cost extra?
I'd always recommend a trial — it's the best way to lock in your look with no surprises on the morning. A trial is included in my bridal pricing from $150.
How far ahead should I book my wedding makeup?
I take one wedding a day, so popular dates book out 6–12 months ahead. As soon as you have a date and venue, send it through and I'll check availability.
